Kakarvitta Multiple Campus (KMC) successfully organized a specialized Academic and Career Counseling Program aimed at guiding recent high school graduates toward the right academic and professional paths. The program specifically targeted students who recently cleared their Grade 12 examinations and are looking to enroll in undergraduate studies.
Expert Guidance on Subject Selection
The session was led by Mr. Hem Kumar Khadka, Head of the Faculty of Education and Senior Lecturer at KMC. As the primary resource person, Mr. Khadka provided deep insights into:
GPA-Based Stream Selection: Helping students understand which undergraduate subjects align best with their Grade 12 results (GPA).
Career Mapping: Identifying future service sectors and job opportunities associated with different academic majors.
Goal Setting: Assisting students in choosing the right faculty (Education, Management, etc.) to match their long-term professional aspirations.
Community Outreach
Recognizing its responsibility to the region, KMC extended the invitation beyond its own premises. The campus reached out to students from various secondary schools within its service area, ensuring that a wide range of local youth benefited from this expert counseling.
This initiative reinforces KMC’s role as a mentor institution, ensuring that students do not just pursue an education, but build a career with a clear vision.
