- It occupies 0-15-19-0 Kattha of its own land with adequate physical infrastructures for educational activities.
- It has been launching Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Education faculties.

Topographical Background
Mechinagar Municipality is one of the local levels among the 15 local levels of Jhapa district. It is connected to West Bengal in the East , Bhadrapur Municipality in the south, Buddha Shanti rural municipality and Birtamod Municipality in the west and Rong rural municipality of Ilam District in the North.
According to the census of 2011, the total population of this Municipality is 111737 including 58741. The total household of the municipality is 25531. The municipality has some of the important tourist spots like Krishna Thumki , Patal Ganga and Mini mountain.
Brahimn and Chherti are the dominant castes in the municipality. However, the southern part has the more population of indigenous and marginalized community. This community will get more benefit from this proposed bus service.
Though the Mahendra highway goes through the middle part of the Municipality, rest of the part has no concrete motor able road in these parts. The public bus service is not frequent in the rest part of the municipality.
