Kakarvitta Multiple Campus (KMC) successfully held its 8th Campus Assembly on Monday, Bhadra 16, 2082. The event was chaired by the Chairman of the Campus Management Committee, Mr. Durga Prasad Sapkota.
The assembly was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Honorable Minister Ram Bahadur Magar, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Koshi Province, by lighting the traditional lamp (Panas).
Key Highlights of the Assembly:
Reports Presented: Chairman Mr. Durga Prasad Sapkota presented the Annual Progress Report, while Mr. Poshak Darji, Coordinator of the Social Audit Committee, presented the Social Audit Report.
Strategic Decisions: The assembly approved the annual budget for the fiscal year 2082/083, revised the Strategic Business Plan, and endorsed the formation of the new Management Committee.
Social Audit Committee Reorganization: A new Social Audit Committee was formed under the coordination of Mr. Gyan Bahadur Bohara to maintain Institutional Transparency.
Student Recognition: High-achieving students from BBS 4th Year and B.Ed. 4th Year were honored for their academic excellence during the Student Honor session.
Cultural Performance: Student Swastika Rai (B.Ed. 4th Year) performed a welcome dance to greet the guests.
Distinguished guests including Mechinagar Mayor Mr. Gopal Chandra Budhathoki, Deputy Mayor Ms. Meena Pokhrel Upreti, and Koshi Province Assembly Member Mr. Gopal Tamang shared their remarks. The program was conducted by Campus Chief Mr. Laxmi Prasad Upreti.
