Examination & Internal Assessment System

Kakarvitta Multiple Campus follows a structured, transparent, and continuous evaluation system to assess students’ academic progress. The examination and internal assessment system is designed to ensure fair evaluation, regular academic monitoring, and quality education in accordance with university guidelines and campus policy.

1. Objectives of the Examination System

The examination system aims to:

  • Evaluate students’ academic performance systematically

  • Encourage continuous learning and regular class participation

  • Maintain academic discipline and accountability

  • Prepare students effectively for final university examinations

2. Internal Assessment System

To monitor academic progress throughout the academic year, the campus conducts internal examinations as part of continuous assessment.

Internal Examination Structure

  • Two internal examinations are conducted in an academic year.

  • The first internal examination is conducted after the completion of approximately 50% of the syllabus.

  • The second internal examination is conducted after the completion of the full syllabus.

  • Internal assessments may include:

    • Written tests

    • Unit-wise evaluations

    • Subject-specific assessments conducted by respective teachers

3. Role of Subject Teachers

  • Subject teachers are responsible for conducting internal assessments as per academic requirements.

  • Evaluation may be based on:

    • Class performance

    • Assignments and presentations

    • Attendance and participation

  • Teachers provide guidance and feedback to help students improve academically.

4. Attendance & Examination Eligibility

To be eligible for internal and external examinations:

  • Students must maintain regular attendance as prescribed by campus and university rules.

  • Participation in internal examinations is mandatory.

  • Students who fail to meet attendance or academic requirements may not be allowed to appear in examinations.

  • Students who do not appear in the required internal assessments may not be considered for scholarship support.
Students are advised to familiarize themselves with related campus policies, including the Student Code of Conduct, Scholarship & Financial Support policy, and official Notice Board updates for academic and administrative information.

5. University / Final Examinations

  • Final examinations are conducted as per the university (Tribhuvan University) examination system.

  • Students must complete all internal academic requirements to be eligible for final examinations.

  • Examination forms, schedules, and guidelines are published through official notices.

6. Examination Discipline & Conduct

During examinations, students must:

  • Follow all examination rules and instructions strictly.

  • Maintain discipline, honesty, and academic integrity.

  • Avoid unfair means, misconduct, or disruptive behaviour.

  • Use of unauthorized materials or electronic devices is strictly prohibited.

Any violation of examination rules may result in disciplinary action as per campus and university regulations.

7. Evaluation, Results & Feedback

  • Internal examination results are evaluated by subject teachers.
  • Students are informed of their academic performance through internal assessments.
  • Constructive feedback is provided to support academic improvement.

8. Academic Integrity & Fairness

9. Policy Authority & Updates

  • This examination and assessment policy is approved by the Campus Administration / Management Committee.
  • The policy is subject to revision in line with university regulations and institutional requirements.
  • Students are expected to stay updated through official notices.
  • This Examination & Internal Assessment System is implemented in accordance with the Educational Administration Policy and the Campus Bidhan of Kakarvitta Multiple Campus.
  • This Library Services & Rules framework is implemented in accordance with the Library Policy (2081) and the Campus Bidhan of Kakarvitta Multiple Campus.
