Official News: Campus Premises and Bhanu Statue Cleaned to Mark Bhanu Jayanti
In anticipation of the upcoming Bhanu Jayanti (the birth anniversary of the pioneering Nepali poet Bhanubhakta Acharya), a collaborative morning sanitation and community cleaning campaign was successfully executed. The initiative was jointly organized by Kakarvitta Multiple Campus and the Bhanu Sahityik Pratisthan.
The program brought together campus administrators, professors, literary figures, and energetic students working hand in hand to promote civic responsibility and preserve local cultural landmarks.
Scope of the Cleaning Drive
The environmental and preservation drive specifically targeted two core zones in the locality:
Campus Infrastructure: Intensive cleaning of the college grounds, surrounding pathways, and perimeter blocks.
Bhanu Shalik (Statue) Premises: Deep cleaning and restoration of the surrounding monument grounds dedicated to Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, preparing the landmark site for the main commemorative floral tribute ceremonies.
Through this joint venture, both institutions highlighted the value of community service and paid homage to the historical literary icon who unified the Nepali language. The campus administration extends its deep gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and the representatives of the Bhanu Sahityik Pratisthan for making the event impactful and successful.
