In honor of the 27th Anniversary of Kakarvitta Multiple Campus, a prestigious Mechinagar-Level Inter-School/Campus Open Chess Tournament was held with great enthusiasm. This intellectual battle brought together sharp minds from across the region to demonstrate their strategic brilliance.

The event saw the participation of 38 students representing 16 different schools and campuses within the Mechinagar area. The tournament was graced by the presence of Mr. Lalit Bahadur Tamang, Ward Chairperson of Mechinagar-6, who attended as the Chief Guest.

After several rounds of intense mental competition, the following players secured the top positions:

• First Place: Surya Kiran Gautam (Dhulabari Secondary School)

• Second Place: Prayas Lokendri (East Horizon Boarding School)

• Third Place: Aarogya Niraula (Dhulabari Secondary School)

• Fourth Place: Akash Basnet (Kakarvitta Multiple Campus)

• Fifth Place: Justin Rai (Arunodaya English Boarding School)
