जल तथा मौसम विज्ञान विभाग, मौसम पूर्वानुमान महाशाखा तथा नेपाल सरकार शिक्षा, विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि मन्त्रालयको मौसम सम्बन्धी विशेष पूर्वचेतावनी बुलेटिन अनुसार बङ्गालको खाडीमा विकसित न्यूनचापीय प्रणाली (Deep Depression) का कारण अत्यधिक वर्षा, बाढी, पहिरो तथा डुबानको उच्च जोखिम रहेकाले काँकरभिट्टा बहुमुखी क्याम्पसमा अध्ययनरत डुबान जोखिम क्षेत्रका विद्यार्थी, प्राध्यापक तथा कर्मचारीहरूको जिउधनको सुरक्षालाई उच्च प्राथमिकतामा राख्दै मिति २०८३ साल असोज ०९ गते शुक्रबारका दिन क्याम्पसमा १ (एक) दिन आपत्कालीन बिदा दिइएको व्यहोरा सूचित गरिन्छ।
अत्यधिक वर्षाका कारण आउन सक्ने सम्भावित बाढी, डुबान र नदी कटानबाट पूर्ण रूपमा सतर्क रहन र अनावश्यक यात्रा नगर्न क्याम्पस प्रशासन सम्पूर्ण विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक, प्राध्यापक तथा कर्मचारी वर्गमा हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछ।

Urgent Notice: Emergency Campus Closure on Ashwin 09, 2083 & Natural Disaster Safety Advisory

In light of the emergency weather bulletin issued by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (Meteorological Forecasting Division) on Ashwin 07, 2083, regarding the intensification of a Deep Depression in the Bay of Bengal, severe weather conditions including heavy rainfall, flash floods, landslides, and inundation are expected across the region.
Following the safety advisories issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology prioritizing the safety of students, faculty, and administrative staff, and considering that many of our community members commute from flood-prone and inundated zones, Kakarvitta Multiple Campus will remain closed on Ashwin 09, 2083 (25 September 2026), Friday.

- Reason: Heavy rainfall, Deep Depression system, high risk of flash floods and inundation in local streams/rivers.
- Safety Instruction: All students, faculty, and staff are strongly urged to stay indoors, avoid traveling through flooded areas or near swollen rivers, and remain highly vigilant during this period.
